Hotel Planter, a renovated National Historic InnLaConner, Washington was awarded the "Most Exciting & Romantic Small Town" in Evening Magazines Best of Western Washington Viewers Poll 2000. The ambient lighting and flavor of our town attract many artists and writers who feel inspired by its charm. Hotel Planter is located in the heart of town within walking distance of the many fine art and craft galleries, specialty shops, antique stores, museums and restaurants.

Nestled along the saltwater Swinomish Channel, LaConner is banked on the East by the fertile Skagit Valley, known for its seed crops and tulip fields. The North Cascade Mountains are a short distance away giving life to the several rivers flowing through this area providing outstanding fishing, kayaking, and river rafting tours.
